The poster in that I am attaching picture shows the life cycle of Emperor penguins in the Ross Bay.
For those who have problems with English: In the right corner: the colony breeding, feeding, dispersal, changes pens
- June: spawning, 65 days of incubation eggs by the male, the colony gathers together.
- August the chicks are hatched
- October: independence of the chicks, adult trips to feed the chicks, feed weekly
- December: dispersion and departure of chicks
- January: wet feathers adults
- March: Adults - feeding after the suit, return to the colony
- April: arrival to the colony
